Human Resource Manager
ABOUT THE JOB
The Human Resource Manager Carries out responsibilities in accordance with MBCC’s policies and applicable laws.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all employees
- Follows company Human Resource policies and procedures and assure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
- Maintains compliance with Labour Law regulations concerning employment.
- Advise management in appropriate resolutions of employee relations issues.
- Prepares employee separation notice, related documentation and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension, personnel transaction such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations.
- Administers benefits programs such life and health vacation, sick leave, leave of absences and employee assistance.
- Administers salary administration program and performance review process.
- Performs recruitment activities. Writes and places advertisements. Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions. Plans and conduct new employee orientations.
- Coordinates training or trains Managers in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management, performance review, safety and sexual harassment.
- Participates in Safety Committee Meetings.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development/Management, Management Studies, Public Sector Management, Public/Business Administration, or a related Discipline.
- Minimum of three years working experience in human resource management
- Extensive knowledge of HRIS software, spreadsheets and word processing software.
