Montego Bay Convention Centre Enters The Virtual World

ROSE HALL, St. James (January 30, 2013) – Montego Bay Convention Centre has entered the virtual world with the launch of our virtual tour enabling meeting planners, exhibitors and attendees to experience a personal tour of our magnicent facilities from the comfort of their offices or homes.

The MBCC Virtual Tour and our e-Flyers, available on our website, are both created to give you an insight into the layout, convenience, spaceousness and beauty of the facility and how it can really enhance your meeting or event experience. During the 360o tour, visitors will feel like they are at the Centre, given the rich content of each interactive image which allows you to view laterally, horizontally, vertically and diagonally.

The MBCC virtual tour has been designed to appeal to all of MBCC’s stakeholders, particularly valuable to those who are unable to visit our breathtaking facilities in person.

Commenting on the launch of the Montego Bay Convention Centre Virtual Tour, MBCC’s General Manager, Dittie F. Guise, said: “At Montego Bay Convention Centre we are committed to improving your online experience which is a precursor to the kind of professionalism, hi-tech services you can expect from our team during, pre- and post of your event.”

“Our clients have often expressed the difficulty they have in driving to, or flying into Montego Bay to do a site inspection, so we saw it fit to invest in the use of modern technology to meet our clients half way – hence the virtual tour. Until now, meeting and event professionals looking for more images of the Centre were limited to text or static images. The MBCC 360o virtual walkthrough now provides a better insight into the richness of the outdoors and indoors of the facility. It allows us to capture a much wider international audience who may not be able to visit us in person.”
